Extension

Welfare of Extension Workers.
- CSU shall ensure the well-being of its extension workers in terms of safety and gender needs cutting across ages, ethnicity, religion, sex, abilities, etc.
Community Target.
- CSU shall give preference to communities with identified gender issues that hinder community development.
Budget/Funding.
- CSU shall allot funds for gender related extension programs and other support needed by the personnel in the conduct of extension works.
Donations/Linkages.
- CSU shall encourage donations that answer gender-related needs of the community. The university shall establish linkages with government agencies and NGOs of similar gender advocacy.
Technology Transfer.
- CSU requires gender orientation to every technology transfer where the recipient is a community.

To remove the disparity between sexes in the institution
To increase the level of awareness about Gender and Development
To introduce mechanisms and strategies towards developing gender-responsive human resource management and development systems
To address the various gender needs and concerns of employees
