Caraga State University launched its Bayugan City External Campus for Graduate School last August 20, 2018 at the ABC Hall of Bayugan City. CSU President Anthony M. Penaso stood side by side with Agusan del Sur Governor Adolf Edward “Eddie Bong” Plaza, Bayugan City Mayor Lope “Kim” Asis, with Sangguniang Panlalawigan and Panglungsod members, and CSU Administrative Council members in the cutting of the ribbon for the official opening of a Graduate School in Bayugan and for Bayugan as another satellite school of CSU.
The people of Agusan del Sur expressed their utmost gratitude for the presence of CSU in Bayugan as it will make their professional advancement easy and practical. Gov. Plaza also expressed his all- out support to CSU and to the Agusan del Sur constituents.
On the other hand, CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso noted the commitment and dedication of CSU in bringing about quality education to the whole of Caraga Region. He mused that Caraga State University has now an ABC campus, Ampayon, Bayugan and Cabadbaran. He also acknowledged the effort of those who dreamt and aspired for the existence of Bayugan campus way back ten years ago by committed and dedicated individuals who worked for the betterment of their fellowmen.
