Dr. Natividad R. Mamaog led the College of Science Education Faculty in the enhancement programs for the CSE. Most recently, CSE worked with the Cebu State University in the review classes for CSE graduates in preparation for the upcoming Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
Dean Mamaoag said, “In compliance with the pertinent provision of the Revised Policies and Standards for Undergraduate Teacher Education Curricula and for the purpose of responding to the Licensure Examination for Teachers by virtue of Republic Act No. 7836. The College of Science Education will pursue its role of preparing the graduates for the licensure examination. We have to come up with programs that will provide them the latest test framework to ensure better passing percentage in the board examination. This is also in response to the accreditation recommendation in preparation for level three accreditation of CSE.”
The review class aims to maximize the capability of the graduates to obtain a passing rate in the licensure examination. Specifically, it seeks to develop the competencies needed to ensure a better passing percentage in the board examination. To increase confidence and reduce test anxiety by being fully prepared for the test experience... before, during and after and, provide guidance regarding the procedure in taking the examination. The CSE Faculty also updated their skills in syllabus design with Dr. Cabalquinto of CNU. Piaea.nrm
