QuAMS Mandate and Core Values

 

Mandate: 

  • Ensure the establishment, implementation, maintenance, and updating of Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the University
  • Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives, and compliance of the university to national standards and statutes;
  • Coordinate with the appropriate offices in the  development of work instructions and standard operating procedures, department and functional procedures, and quality manual;
  • Ensure supervision of the keeping, updating, and maintenance of controlled documents and documented procedures;
  • Ensure that preventive and corrective actions are taken in the processes and operations of the university for continual improvement in accordance to established Quality Management System (QMS);
  • Coordinate with the appropriate offices in ensuring that management review is conducted;
  • Spearhead conduct of Internal and External Quality Audits and Self-Surveys;
  • Prepare report on the performance of the Quality Management System (QMS) to the University President and to the Board of Regents;
  • Perform other tasks in connection with Quality Assurance matters which may be assigned by higher authorities.
