100% board passing for CSU Agricultural Eng’g. Pioneers

by Engr. Sonia Ibarra-Buscano, CEIT - The College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) of CSU garnered a whopping 100 % passing percentage for the Agricultural Engineer Board Examination given by the Board of Agricultural Engineering in the cities of Manila, Baguio and Davao last August 23 & 24, 2010.
Successful examinees from Caraga State University are the following:
1. Galano, Ronald L.
2. Neri, Jean B.
3. Perante, Janice S.
4. Pondog, Anamarie J.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 213 out of 475 passed the examination which chronicles a national passing percentage of 44.84%. CSU’s remarkable performance is a milestone done by the pioneering graduates benchmarking the quality of higher education instilled to them.

Engr. Alexander T. Demetillo, CEIT Dean, expressed an awe-inspiring feeling when asked re board exam upshot. Apparently, it is a consolidated effort of the administration, the entire faculty force and, the students despite the odds of being struggling neophytes in the field. Factors include the scarce physical facilities of the university and lack of well-equipped Agricultural Engineering laboratory. Yet, superior instructions still aptly delivered. Worthy to mention is the three-membered team of the BSAE program under the leadership of Engr. Jula Mae Echalico as Coordinator.
