Networking & Income Generation

CSU is linked with both Government and private agencies national and abroad. One of which is the Caraga Regional Integrated Agricultural Research Center (CARIARC). Through this linkage, the institute was able to generate funds from the DA-BAR for the study “Design and Fabrication of a Mechanical Chipper and Dryer”.

It is also linked with the Food and Fertilizer Technology Center for the Asian and Pacific Region (FFTC-ASPAC) which funded 3.6 million to the study entitled “Modern Corn Cultivation Technology Transfer in Caraga Region Philippines”.

It is also linked with the (FIDA) Fiber Industry Development Authority through the On-Farm Research on Abaca Production and PCCARD Grants-in-Aid- program  through the co-implementation of Supply Chain Analysis for Abaca Industry Improvement.

It is also linked with Philippine Council for Aquatic Marine Research Development through the Caraga Vermimeal and Vermicomposting Production Center which dole out 1 million for the project.

CSU is also linked with Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) wherein the Caraga Health Research and Development Consortium (CHRDC) was formed as the regional counterpart. The present R & D Director of
CSU was elected as treasurer where CSU as a member SUC was designated as the Chair of the ethics subcommittee with FSUU, SJIT, BDC and DOH as members.
