Overview

Welcome to the University’s Online Services or the Web-based Information System!

The University’s web-based information system is comprised of many different and commanding systems and applications that help automate the services in the University.

The systems developed by the personnel of the ICT Center of the University are accessible to students, faculty members and staff and officials with appropriate user accounts composing of usernames and passwords. Access, however, is limited to per application basis. This means that not all users can access all systems except for those who are authorized personnel in the University in order to maintain credibility and security of the records.   

The web-based information systems available are as follows:
1.    Student Management System or the Student Online Services
2.    Caraga State University Scholarship and Admission Examination (CSU SAE) Information System
3.    Online Grade Submission
4.    Faculty Loading
5.    Personnel Evaluation System
6.    Scholarship Information System
7.    Collection Report

Of the systems available, the public may be able to use the CSU SAE Information System without any user account. Users of other systems will have to log-in using their assigned accounts. All users are discouraged from disclosing their account to any person because they will be held liable to whatever misappropriate actions he will take for using that account.

I.    Student Online Services
The student portal, also known as Student Online Services have 6 different modules.
  • The students will be able to view their grades either by semester or all his grades via transcript of records menu.
  • Students can also view his account balances or his matriculation, whether he still have unpaid balances. 
  • Students can even view their class schedules if in case he forgot to memorize it. 
  • Students can also evaluate the performance of his instructors/professors.
  • This portal also is used for voting the candidates for the student body organization during election time.
II.    CSU Scholarship and Admission Examination (CSAE) Information System (formerly the NSAE)
Examinee, parents, relatives of the examinee or any internet user who want to inquire the result of the NORMISIST/CSU Scholarship and Admission Examination (NSAE), they can browse it using this page. It is located at the main page of the university’s website under Online Services menu.

III.    Online Grade Submission System
This portal is being used by all instructors & professors to submit their grades online via the Grading Sheet menu. Upon clicking the menu, the load/subjects he handles on the current semester will appear. Clicking one of those subjects will display the students under that class. They can then print their student grades by clicking the print button.
 
IV. Faculty Loading System
The office of the VPAA and HRMO can also monitor the faculty loading and can even view the schedule of a faculty through Faculty Load menu.
 
V. Personnel Evaluation System
Faculty members can also evaluate the performance of their peers (PES-Peer as Rater), subordinates (PES-Supervisor as Rater) and oneself (PES-Self as Rater) through the Personnel Evaluation System.

VI. Scholarship
Scholarship and admission office also utilizes this portal to add and manipulate record of the examinees.
 
VII. Collection Report
The accounting staff would also use this portal to view the assessment or the student account.

During enrollment, it is also used by the program advisers to view the grades and scholastic status of a particular student, view and map student schedule, view offered subjects during a particular semester. Registrar, VPAA, college deans, department chairpersons can view the enrollment summary. It is also used by chairpersons and deans to view vacant rooms or the room utilization.
