Four faculty members and eight students from Caraga State University join the Science Silpakorn International Summer School 2025 hosted by the Silpakorn University (SU), Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, aiming to immerse students and professions in various disciplines ranging from Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computing, Environmental Science, Microbiology, and Statistics.
The CSU delegation will join the Workshop on Diversity of Flowering Plants: A Botanical Journey into Art on April 23-27, 2025, facilitated by the SU Faculty of Science. Vice President for Student Affairs and Auxiliary Services Rissa L. Mercado, PhD, Julie S. Berame, PhD, Archie Along, MSc, and Jesiel Cris Paylangco, MSc. lead the said delegation.
The participating students included Bench S. Aparece and Ore L. Hendive from the College of Education (CEd) and Kyla T. Podiotan, Chzareina Omandam, Micah Rose Almadin, Judy Mae Rodas, Edzielgene Siega, and John Saburo Kanashiro from the College of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (CMNS).
This engagement strengthens CSU’s efforts to expose students to international studies and expand partnerships beyond the region.
