October 21, 2022.  The Accrediting Association for Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Accreditation ends today with appreciation, gratitude and a note of nothing but good words for CSU from the AACCUP accreditors. The weeklong assessment went efficiently and smoothly despite slight challenges in digital connectivity.

Dr. Rowena P. Varela in her opening statement stated that every accreditation is a challenge. It is a mixture of challenge and appreciation.

Dr. Thelma P. Abajar 1st Survey Leader highlighted the significance of establishing a good relationship or PR and dependable technology in virtual accreditation.

Dr. Antriman V. Orleans, 3rd Survey Team Coordinator commended the good packaging and organized systems CSU has. It’s very receptive and always available accreditation counterparts were so warm and accommodating. He has nothing but good words for CSU accordingly.

According to the AACCUP Team of Accreditors, engaging with CSU provides us opportunities to see and be exposed to other perspectives. Dr. Juancho Joaquin Batang or Doc Boyet,  4th Survey Team Coordinator was impressed with how the CSU people managed to put things together quite well. The documents, the rigorous and tedious process, the gesture of support, the work for quality services and all other things that go with accreditation processes were laid and made easy for the accreditors to act accordingly and swiftly.

Dr Boyet Batang said that we are all partners for transformation and in facing academic challenges. Learning to learn, impact relevant quality education and the commitment to serve while imbibing the culture of quality

Agusan del Sur College of Agricultural Technology (ASSCAT) President Joy C. Capistrano and Officer-in-Charge of CSU Office of the President warmly expressed her gratitude to the AACCUP Team and extolled the hardwork of the CSU community. She ended her talk quoting CHED Chair Dr. Popoy De Vera that we should all take accreditation as a badge of honor for quality assurance.

Dr. Armie Leila M. Mordeno, Vice President for Administration and Finance expressed utmost appreciation to all and quoted CSU former President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso’s famous line- “Everyday is Accreditation day!” Hosting the Exit Conference was Ms. Aquessa R. Piamonte in coordination with the Quality Assurance and Management Services (QuAMS) headed by Dr. Fernando Herrera. PICO
