June 24, 2019. Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) President, Dr. Manuel T. Corpus with AACCUP Consultant Dr. Maria Glenda O. De Lara visited CSU for an assessment of its readiness for high level Institutional Accreditation.

CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso with the CSU family welcomed the AACCUP people with warmth and a very positive disposition.

AACCUP President Corpus highlighted the importance of an institutional accreditation and assured the CSU family that they will be guided along the processes and that CSU is on its way to getting the coveted IA or Institutional Accreditation.

On the other hand, Dr. De Lara noted the importance of licensure examination passers and that it should be in the accreditation portfolio supported by the Philippine Regulations Commission (PRC) certification.

Dr. De Lara said, “Let us be conservative and honest enough to know what we have and what we do not have. Let us practice the ethical standards in research. Transparency is accountability, and accountability is responsibility. We cannot compromise credibility, quality, and integrity and honesty; and our truth must be based on legality.”

After the day’s assessment, the AACCUP President and Consultant expressed positive words and reactions to the presented documents and to the interviews. CSU continues to live with everyday is accreditation day and its journey to excellence is endless.  pico
