Two (2) Faculty members of Caraga State University represented the university in the 4th International Conference in Agroforestry (ICAF 2022) organized by Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) with the support of Southeast Asia Network of Agroforestry Education (SEANAFE), the Malaysian Society of Agroforestry (MySAF) and the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF-Sabah). The three-day international conference was held at the Promenade Hotel, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia on November 15-17, 2022.
The two researchers were For. Victor Corbita, a faculty researcher from the Forestry Department of the College of Forestry and Environmental Science and Dr. Crishelo Cabillo, a faculty member of the Agriculture Department from the College of Agriculture and Agri- Industries. Both For. Corbita and Dr. Cabillo recently finished their graduate studies at the University of Philippines, Los Baños (UPLB) last August 2022.
A total of 15 delegates from the Philippines participated and presented their various research outputs in the field of Forestry, Agriculture, and Agroforestry at the said conference. Other participants were from Central Mindanao University, the University of the Philippines- Los Baños, Occidental Mindoro State College, and Caraga State University.
