CSU commemorates 12th year of Proclamation No. 239

TODAY, August 16 – Faculty, staff, and executives paid tribute to the statues of the late Governor Francis Burton Harrison and legislator Elisa R. Ochoa, who were instrumental in championing Proclamation No. 4, later amended to Proclamation No. 239. The latter granted ownership of certain parcels of land to Caraga State University in 2011.

CSU hails as 5th top-performing school in the Philippines; 1st in Visayas and Mindanao in recent Board Examination for Psychometricians

August 2023 brings a victorious feat for the pioneering batch of CSU’s BS Psychology! The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) named the University as the 5th top-performing school in the Philippines in the August 2023 Board Licensure Examination for Psychologists and Psychometricians (BLEPP) with a 92.42% passing rate for its first-time takers. This ranking concurrently puts CSU as the leading school in Visayas and Mindanao.

CSU receives 10M from CHED-IDIG Program

Webometrics tag CSU as top university in Caraga, 48th in the entire PH

The pedestal that the university stands on remains high, as it ranked 1st in Caraga and 48th in the entire Philippines out of 367 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). This is based on the newly-released Webometrics’ July 2023 publication for its Ranking of World Universities by the Cybermetrics Lab. CSU is also the only HEI in Caraga included in the top 100.

CHED-Caraga steers review and validation of CSU curricular programs

A total of 11 colleges from both campuses of Caraga State University presented their undergraduate curricular programs to the Commission on Higher Education – Caraga Region last Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the New Administration Building’s Conference Hall.
