Three (3) exceptional alumni from CEd in the secondary, regional, and international arenas shared inspiring experiences as they were given tribute and recognition during their first Grand Alumni Homecoming and Awards Night held at HERO Learning Commons Auditorium on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

Mr. Glen B. Pacot (Alumnus of the Year in Secondary Education), Dr. Lorenzo O. Macasocol (Alumnus of the Year for Regional Achievement), and Dr. Gracie Burdeos (Alumnus of the Year for International Achievement) all imparted gratitude, lessons, and inspirations to their fellow alumni and professors, highlighting CSU’s role in their professions.

The University President, Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, also rendered his gratitude and plans for ‘transformation’ in alumni relations and convocations. As someone married to a CEd alumna, Mrs. Ferlyn, he assures that alumni will always have a ‘home’ at CSU. The Alumni Association President, Hon. Michel B. Valdez, and Dr. Maris Lasco also graced the occasion with their speeches.

The formal event is capped with a fellowship dinner at the New Admin Building. OUBS/pico
