Caraga State University (CSU) congratulates its 127 (104 athletes and 23 Coaches) delegates in the 2025 National State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) Games, who clinched 31 total medals in various sporting events.
The national games, held at Camiguin Polytechnic State College from April 22 to 27, 2025, with the theme "Advancing SUC Unity, Elevating Sports Excellence for Sustainable Development," gathered around 8,000 students and coaches from 16 regions represented by State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).
Joining CSU in the Caraga delegation were Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT), North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU), and Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU).
CSU alone garnered 8 gold, 8 silver, and 15 bronze medals, contributing to the region’s placement at 8th overall (7th runner-up).
KC Recamara, a gold medalist in Taekwondo (Fin weight) was also recognized as the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
