Thus emphasized, Dr. Luisito I. Tabada, VP Academic Affairs of Caraga State University, in his Keynote Speech during the Make IT Move on December 11, 2010, at CSU Gymnasium, with the theme “Move onward, venture and explore.”
The event was hosted by both Junior Philippine Computing Society (JPCS) of FSUU and CSU chapters. It was participated by more than 500 students from the five prestigious schools in Butuan City namely:
- AMA Computer Learning Center (AMA CLC)
- Caraga State University (CSU)
- Father Saturnino Urios University (FSUU)
- Holy Child Colleges of Butuan
- Philippines Electronics and Communications Institute of Technology (PECIT)
Different plenary sessions from knowledgeable speakers took place in the morning of the said affair like:
- RICH INTERNET APPLICATION by Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, Director,CT-CSU
- DIGITALLY ADVANCING BUTUAN by Mr. Michael C. Torralba, Manager, CYBER HUB
- TELECOMMUNICATIONS EVOLUTION by Ms. Cherry Mae Busa, President, CICT
- GET READY FOR THE JOB INTERVIEW by Mr. Rex Makinano, Arts and Sciences-Dean, FSUU
During the afternoon of the gathering, JPCS Got Talent was held which was simultaneous with the Inter-school Digital Graphic Design Contest. Laro ng Lahi was also administered after those contests. The winners of the contests were the following:

This year’s success is through the collaborative effort of the speakers, participants and the JPCS FSUU and CSU Officers headed by Ms. Johanna Lozarito and Mr. Ronel Seraspe, respectively. Make IT Move is the follow-up assembly after the success of last year’s Make IT GREEN (Globally Renovated through Environmental Education for the Nation) which was held last November 28, 2009 at FSUU Gymnasium and was one of the biggest gathering of IT students in Caraga Region.
