Dr. Cheryl Quindao Mentuda, a faculty from the Mathematics, College of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (CMNS) has earned her degree Doctor in Mathematics, from the Université de Picardie Jules Verne (UPJV), Amiens France. Her dissertation is entitled Mathematical Modelling of Pest Invasion and Application to the Fight Against Pest-Borne Disease in the Philippines. Her International Advisor/Director was Dr.

CSU Researchers go to Paris

Forming part of the joint research project of Caraga State University (CSU) with the University of Picardie Jules Verne (UPJV) in Amiens France, four faculty researchers from the College of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (CMNS) were sent to France for immersion, to include visit to the UPJV research laboratories and undertake research on November 21-30, 2022.

A CSU alumnus in Aussie is soil health and plant nutrition Scientist

Dr. Johnvie Goloran, batch 2001 graduate of Caraga State University has become a soil health and plant nutrition scientist. Dr. Goloran finished a Bachelor of Science in Agroforestry and Entrepreneurship course from CSU, cum laude. He visits CSU from time to time, the most recent of which was last November 15, 2022 at the Alumni Relations Office, signifying his support to his alma mater.
