CHED Commissioner

TODAY: CSU is at Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) – Del Carmen Campus, Del Carmen, Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte, for their 75^th Board of Regents (BOR) Special Meeting with the good CHED Commissioner Honorable Jo Mark M. Libre.

CHED Chair Hon. J. Prospero De Vera III and CHED Commissioner Hon. Jo Mark M. Libre arrived at Caraga State University last February 8, 2023 to lead the blessing and dedication of the institution's Board Room. This commenced the array of activities they had for the day, including the second Consultative Meeting for CSU.

On June 29, 2022, CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso delivered the President’s State of the University Address (SUnA) and awarded Partners for Development during the 12th Anniversary Convocation of Caraga State University with the theme “CSU@12: Flourishing and Blooming”, held at the CSU-HERO Learning Commons Activity Center.

Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Commissioner J. Prospero De Vera took time out after a rigorous Board of Regents meetings with the three State Universities and Colleges in Caraga Region to go around Caraga State University and to dine with the CSU Executive Committee members on May 18, 2017.

CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso toured to CSU Commissioner De Vera and brought him to the Organic Agriculture Training Center where the key officials await them. The Commissioner was accorded the CSU welcome ritual to his delight.
