Organizational Structure of CSU GAD – Functions/ Designations/ Qualifications of GAD Officers.

  1. Hiring/Placement of Personnel. The Caraga State University commits itself to recruitment in a manner that is fair to all genders. A gender responsive process that provide for active recruitment, a transparent and respectful design of job placement or promotion procedures, and comprehensive monitoring.
  2. Budget Allocation. The Caraga State University commits itself to maintaining a resource management that is fair to all genders. It provides gender-equitable distribution of personnel and material sources as well as spaces, and ensures that gender equality also extends to salary structures such as classifications and the awarding of performance bonuses. It makes decisions on resource allocation transparent and subject to the fair participation of both sexes.
  3. Planning. The Office of Planning and Development shall integrate in their plans/activities/programs gender responsiveness on all aspects.
  4. Information and Communication. The Caraga State University commits itself to using a gender fair language and design: basic documents (reports, policies, and service agreements), dealing with the clients/public, marketing, and internal communications. The University supports its members in the implementation of such language and design through training and appropriate tools.
  5. HR Development Program (HRDP). The Human Resource Development Office shall have gender responsive human resource development programs and services. It shall have measures to ensure gender-empowered human resource.
  6. Physical Facilities/ Development. CSU shall have gender responsive physical facilities that will cater to all gender needs cutting across ages, races, sexes, and abilities (e.g. ramps, elevators, covered walk, drop-in center, nursing centers, bag hangers in the comfort rooms, etc.).
  7. GAD Office. The University GAD Office consist of a GAD Focal Point System
    1. (GFPS) represented by:
      1. President. GAD Champion; Chairperson of the GAD Focal Point System (GFPS).
      2. Executive  Committee  represented by the Vice Presidents, and Deans that provide direction and give policy advice to the University President to support and strengthen GAD mainstreaming activities in the University.
      3. GAD Focal Point/Person. Anchor of the university GAD Focal Point System.
      4. Technical Working Group. Represented by the Directors of the various units that include but not limited to Planning Director, Budget Officer,  Human Resource Management Officer, Director of General Services and many more as prescribed in the Special Order No. 387, series of 2021 for the GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) designation.
      5. College GAD Committee/Representative. The representatives of  the colleges to the GAD Committee that is composed of the Department Chairpersons.
