A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was formally forged between Navigatu and Dodo Coworking Space for the official launch of local collaboration on opportunities and mentorship programs for startup founders and innovators at the university.

On November 10, CSU’s President, Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, and Dodo Coworking Space Co-Owner, Mr. Dominique Haas, signed the MOU to seal a partnership on business development and marketing activities through its Dodo Academy. Moreover, the collaboration aims to explore the effective integration and use of each party’s technologies within the respective solutions currently employed, developed, and marketed by both organizations. This strategic alliance is set to accelerate regional innovation by strengthening the support system available to entrepreneurs and startups in the Caraga region.

Present in the signing were TBI Director, Dr. Riah E. Encarnacion; TBI Incubation Project Head and TARA Agri-Aqua TBI Project Leader, Ms. Jenelyn R. Asis; and Dodo Coworking Space representatives, Ms. Joyce Michaela Duglas and Ms. Julia Aguillon.

The Dodo Academy is an educational venture of the Dodo Workspace and Café. Based in Butuan City, the academy provides students and young professionals with skill-building courses, startup incubation, and programs in a collaborative environment.
