Caraga State University, as a premier institution of higher learning, endeavors to continually improve its management system in the following key result areas:

GENERAL MANDATE
Caraga State University shall primarily provide advanced education, higher technological, professional instruction, and training in the fields of agriculture and environmental studies, fishery, engineering, forestry, industrial technology, education, law, medicine, and other health-related programs, information technology, arts and sciences, and other related courses. It shall undertake research and extension services, and provide progressive leadership in its areas of specialization.

UNIVERSITY EMBLEMS

Over the years, Caraga State University has committed to becoming the leading university in the Caraga Region and beyond by being digital, innovative, and entrepreneurial. Guided by our mission to become a future-proof university, we strive to produce graduates who lead, inspire, and create meaningful change.
ISO Certification Emblem (2017–Present)
CSU received its first ISO certification in 2017 and has since been successfully recertified, affirming its adherence to globally recognized best practices in operations, services, and systems.
CHED Level IV University Emblem (2018)
CSU became the only university in the Philippines to achieve a quantum leap from SUC Level II to SUC Level IV, marking a historic milestone in its institutional development.
CHED Center of Development Emblem (2018)
Alongside its CHED Institutional Achievement, CSU was recognized as a Center of Development in Biology, Information Technology, and Mathematics.
AACCUP Accreditation Emblems (2020)
CSU was granted Level II Institutional Accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP, Inc.), and its Cabadbaran campus achieved Level I Accreditation, the first of its kind in the Caraga Region.
PQA Level II Emblem (2023)
CSU earned the Proficiency in Quality Management (Level II) under the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) 25th Assessment Cycle for demonstrating excellence in performance management, productivity, and quality standards.
HR Bronze Award (2026)
CSU has been conferred the Bronze Award under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) for achieving a process-defined level of human resource management across four (4) core HR systems: Recruitment, Selection, and Placement (RSP); Performance Management (PM); Learning and Development (L&D,); and Rewards and Recognition (R&R).
QS World University Rankings Emblem (2025)
CSU also debuted in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2026, placing 223rd in Southeast Asia and within the 1401-1500 band in Asia. The QS Rankings evaluate universities worldwide based on academic reputation, teaching quality, research impact, and international engagement.
THE Impact Rankings Emblems (2025)
CSU made a historic debut in the 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, placing 3rd among Philippine universities in the banded ranking and securing a spot in the global 501-800 bracket. CSU also achieved top national rankings in several SDG categories: No Poverty (RANK 1), Good Health and Well-being (RANK 5), Quality Education (RANK 3), Gender Equality (RANK 6), and Partnership for the Goals (RANK 3). This showed the university’s enhanced global competitiveness, strong research performance, and societal impact.
