To support continuous improvement and relevance of instructional offerings, Caraga State University through the Office of Curriculum and Instruction Development (OCID) held a stakeholders’ forum and welcomed new members of its Program Advisory Board on September 22, 2025, at the HERO Learning Commons.

The forum gathered faculty members and administrators from both the Main and Cabadbaran campuses, along with stakeholders across the region. The collaborative dialogue aimed to ensure that academic programs remain aligned with current and future workforce demands, deepen understanding of the Curriculum Quality Audit (CQA) and Outcomes-Based Education (OBE), and share updates on curriculum processes, procedures, including the development and revision of academic programs.
Representatives and partners from public and private organizations reinforced their support for quality education in the region. Among those who delivered short talks were representatives from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Economy, Planning and Development (DepDev), Department of Education (DepEd), Tagito Mining Corporation, and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Following the talks and open forum, University President Rolyn C. Daguil administered the signing of appointments and the oath-taking of the new members of the advisory board.

With stakeholders’ involvement that promotes inclusive and participatory curriculum review, CSU ensures that its academic programs remain responsive, relevant, and aligned with global expectations, a standard that advances SDG No. 4 – Quality Education.
