The Caraga State University (CSU) has been conferred the Bronze Award under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) for achieving a process-defined level of human resource management across four (4) core HR systems.
The award was granted by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) through CSC Resolution No. 2600057 and was formally received by the university on January 26, 2026. With this conferment, the university is vested with the privilege and incentive to exercise authority and take final actions on appointments. A separate awarding ceremony will be organized by CSC once the relevant details are finalized.
In its official communication, CSC commended the university’s Human Resource and Management Services (HRMS) for effectively facilitating the requirements and processes leading to the conferment. In October last year, an on-site assessment and validation were conducted to evaluate CSU’s compliance with PRIME-HRM standards.
Prior to receiving the Bronze Award, CSU was also reaccredited in July 2025 with Maturity Status Level II in two core pillars: Recruitment, Selection, and Placement (RSP) and Performance Management (PM).
Beyond the recognition, this result demonstrates CSU’s sustained commitment to strengthening HR systems that yield a high-performing workforce.
