The BS Social Work program at Caraga State University has once again been recognized as the top-performing school in the Philippines, achieving a 100% success rate for its graduates during the recent Oath-Taking and Induction Ceremonies of New Social Workers on November 17, 2023, at Manila Hotel.

Ms. Desiree F. Gonzales, Chairperson of the Social Work Department, received this recognition on behalf of Caraga State University. She was accompanied by Mr. John Ralde Felias, Social Work Faculty and Director of Gender and Development (GAD) Office, Ms. Donalie G. Gesta, and Ms Rhea Lynne M. Estrosos, who are also faculty members of the said department.

A separate award was also given to Mr. Kyle Joshua R. Coles for placing 7th during the recent board examination.

This marks the third time that both Caraga State University and its Department of Social Work have been honored, with previous recognitions from the Professional Regulation Commission in February and September 2022.

The department takes pride in this achievement, affirming the commitment to delivering quality education. It attributes its success to the collaborative efforts of stakeholders, students, faculty, and administrative personnel at CSU.
