Life as a Golden Paddler extends far beyond the confines of lecture rooms, activity sessions and departmental exams. At Caraga State University, the campus experience is designed to nurture not just academic excellence, but the complete development of every student. Main Events

Signature events that create memorable experiences that define the university’s community spirit.

Entrada

Entrada serves as Caraga State University’s traditional opening activity, which aims to welcome new, transferees, returnees and old students to a brand new academic year.

LCO Days

LCO Days is a week long activity where different group of organization teams up to compete in different activities such as fashion forward, variety show and traditional games. LCO aims to entertain students and divert their attention in participating in such activities which inline with the university’s academic break.

Advocacy Week

With the University Student Government leading the way, Caraga State University held a five-day event that features Sustainable Development Goal. This activity seeks to empower the institution about knowledge and trends regarding different issues that are under of the SDG.

Sangka (University Intramurals)

This student-led activity is organized by the university’s Office of Student Affairs and Auxiliary Services (OVPSAAS) through the Office of Student Leadership and Development (OSLD) and the University Student Government which will run for a week.

The Seven (7) colleges of Caraga State University will vie for a championship in different categories and events : E-Sports, Literary Arts, Visual Arts, Musical Arts, Dance Arts, Theater Arts and Major Events.

These events complement major activities by providing consistent opportunities for students to engage, connect and enrich their campus experience.

Trabaho Fair

This Trabaho Fair is an annual event organized by the Guidance and Counseling Office with the partnership of Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Public Employment Service Office (PESO). The aim of this activity is to provide graduating students and even alumni a kick start in the employment market.

Hugyaw

As a counterpart of the event Entrada, Hugyaw serves as the opening of the second semester of an Academic year, which also features array of performances , eye-catching booths and events.
