CEGS completes all COPCs for six undergraduate programs

Two remaining courses under the College of Engineering and Geosciences (CEGS) have been awarded their Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), bringing the percentage of compliance for all their undergraduate programs to 100.

The COPCs for the Bachelor of Mining Engineering (BSEM) and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) were received by University President Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, outgoing College Dean Engr. Lorie Cris S. Asube, and new College Dean Engr. Anamarie P. Sajonia from Engr. Criseldo C. Calinawan, PhD., PECE, CHED-Caraga’s Education Program Supervisor II – Engineering Programs.

It is noteworthy that the college also obtained COPCs for their Bachelor of Science in Agricultural & Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) and Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSEcE) last week, January 25.

CEGS now ups the bar on providing top-tier and standardized education for the university. Congratulations, CEGS!
