Caraga State University (CSU), through the College of Engineering and Geosciences (CEGS), continues to strengthen its Research and Innovation Agenda through newly awarded grants-in-aid projects funded under the Department of Science and Technology’s Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD).

The CSU delegation, led by University President Dr. Rolyn Daguil, participated in the PCIEERD Grand MOA Signing held on December 11–12, 2025, to formalize the grant. The following Project Leaders and teams behind the newly funded initiatives are as follows:

  • CHIP IP Blocks Project-2: Development of Design Analysis and Methodologies for Ultra-Low Power LDO in 5G-Advanced and 6G Power Management Applications – Engr. Re-Ann Cristine Calimpusan
  • Sustainability Alignment Framework for Enhanced Tailings Storage Facility for Minahang Bayan – Engr. Jedea Jethro Anito Bullanday with project staff Engr. Ephraim Beltran

These initiatives highlight the advanced technical expertise of CSU researchers, their commitment to projects that contribute to national development, and their dedication to upholding integrity in all phases of research implementation. These projects also show the university’s improving research landscape and reinforce its role as an emerging leader in science, technology, and innovation.
