CHED Chair Hon. J. Prospero De Vera III and CHED Commissioner Hon. Jo Mark M. Libre arrived at Caraga State University last February 8, 2023 to lead the blessing and dedication of the institution’s Board Room. This commenced the array of activities they had for the day, including the second Consultative Meeting for CSU.
Together with them are teams of presidents from the ten (10) identified State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) of Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASCCAT) for the Investiture of their College President, Dr. Joy C. Capistrano. Worth noting in attendance is the previous CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso, who now leads the Bohol Island State University (BISU).
The University’s Boardroom shall house all CSU BOR-related meetings. It shall also serve as a venue for other BOR-related conferences of the different SUCs in Caraga, to wit: Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU), North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU), and Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASCCAT).
