Caraga State University President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso was unanimously voted by the 54 member Caraga Higher Education Institutions Association of Presidents and Heads Inc. (CHEIAPH), an association of private and public universities and colleges of Caraga region as its President last January 7, 2019 at Almont Inland Resort and Hotel, Butuan City.
Dr. Penaso is known for his quantum management approach. His leadership-plan for the association include conduct of annual regional higher education summit, research development forum, executive management development program, complementation and resource sharing agreements among HEIs.
Dr. Anthony M. Penaso is also the current President of Caraga Association of State Universities and Colleges Inc. (CASUC), Regional Chair of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges Inc. (PASUC-Caraga), and the Auditor of the Association of Caraga Executives (ACE).
