The Caraga State University (CSU) cemented its status as one of the premier institutions for agricultural education after being honored by the Professional Regulatory Board of Agriculture on December 19, 2025, for its outstanding performance in the November 2025 Agriculturist Licensure Examination (ALE). The conferment was held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City.

CSU received the Plaque of Recognition for ranking 6th among the top-performing schools nationwide, boasting an impressive 86.89% passing rate for its takers. The distinction was formally received by Dr. Elizabeth P. Parac, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Agri-Industries (CAA), and Mr. Sharyl Mae M. Daverao, the university’s ALE Review Coordinator, on behalf of the institution.

Adding to the institution’s triumph was the remarkable achievement of one of its graduates. Mr. Mauro S. Goyo, Jr., a Bachelor of Agricultural Technology (BAT) alumnus, was personally recognized during the event for placing 10th nationwide with a stellar rating of 90.84%.

These dual accomplishments position Caraga State University among the leading agricultural education institutions in the Philippines, showcasing its capability to foster both institutional excellence and individual distinction. The entire university community extends its warmest congratulations to the newly licensed agriculturists, their mentors, and all university personnel whose collective efforts continue to bring pride and honor.
