The Caraga State University – Junior Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (JIECEP) was recognized as one of the top 10 most outstanding school-based organizations for ECE Students across the Philippines during the IECEP National Students’ Summit 2025, held at the Marikina Convention Center in Marikina City on October 22, 2025.

The award was conferred by the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IECEP) through its Education and Student Affairs Committee. CSU-JIECEP received recognition for its exceptional leadership, transformative programs and initiatives, and productive collaboration with IECEP. 

Adding to this outstanding achievement, Engr. Re-Ann Cristine O. Calimpusan, CSU-JIECEP’s adviser, was separately honored as one of the ten most outstanding advisers for school-based organizations. This prestigious award acknowledges her exemplary mentorship and unwavering dedication in shaping student leaders, strengthening CSU-JIECEP excellence, and fostering meaningful contributions to the university and the public community.
