August 13, 2018, led by University President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso Caraga State University resonated as it welcomes “Freshies and Returnees” to the university for the School Year 2018-2019. Trumpets blew and drums beat as the students standing on CSU grounds filled with enthusiasm and excitement listened to the words of welcome by the university President.
Caraga State University is again filled with smiles, giggles, laughter and other resonating sounds from the young people as well as from those of the young at heart. Quaintly decorated booths of the different colleges and students organizations depicting its own culture spread to the delight of all. The students went around connecting and reconnecting with new friends and teachers. School opening in CSU has always been festive, warm and full of awesome happenings.
CSU envisions as a globally-engaged University excelling in science, engineering and the arts. Caraga State University in its mission endeavors to produce globally-competitive and socially responsible human capital towards the sustainable and inclusive development of Caraga Region and beyond.
This year CSU opens a new college, the College of Forestry and Environmental Sciences (COFES) side by side with the College of Agriculture and Agricultural Industries (CAA).
