Fulfilling its goal as a hub for academic excellence and innovation, Caraga State University welcomed six (6) visiting institutions in August alone for benchmarking activities with its programs, laboratories, and processes. 

From Visayas, the Bohol Island State University (BISU) – Candijay Campus visited the College of Forestry and Environmental Science (COFES) and College of Computing and Information Science (CCIS) on August 5 to learn about the Environmental Science Program and smart computer laboratories. 

Personnel from Biliran Province State University (BiPSU), led by President Dr. Victor C. Cañezo, also dropped by on August 20 to learn more about CSU’s hiring and faculty loading and development, laboratory facilities and procurement, industry linkages and internalization, curricular revisions, research and extension, and production initiatives.

Within Mindanao, representatives from Central Mindanao University (CMU) on August 19 benchmarked the payment scheme of the university to expand its payment options online and with the Procurement Office gearing towards establishing its own. Davao Del Sur State College (DDSC) also visited the ICT Center on August 22 to gain insights and explore options for enhancing its own center.

Local partners, including the Philippine Fiber Development Authority (PhilFIDA) – Caraga and Local Government Unit – Baan Km. 3, also gained insights about the techniques and innovations in abaca tissue culture on August 8, and techniques and skills in library management on August 21, respectively.
