Caraga State University formally uncovered the academic building perspective of its School of Medicine (SoM) through a ceremonial unveiling at the New Administration Building on March 22, 2024.
CHED Chairperson J. Prospero E. De Vera III, House Speaker Martin Romualdez, First District Representative Joboy Aquino, CSU officials led by President Dr. Rolyn C Daguil, and the Faculty of SoM led by Dean Dr. Teresita Cadiz-Brion witnessed the ceremony that coincided with the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair from March 22 to 23, at which the university was selected as venue.
The SoM is the pioneering medical school in the Caraga Region. It will offer a curriculum that adapts a community-based instruction described as innovative, integrated, spiritual, and outcome-based, shifting from traditional approaches to medical education.
