December 22 – The Caraga State University (CSU) emerged as this year’s champion for Best Institutional Composting Facility by the City ENRO in the 2023 Ecological Solid Waste Management (ESWM) Evaluation pursuant to the existing RA 9003 and EO 191 of the City Government of Butuan. Mr. Felix Largo Jr., CSU’s Pollution Control and Environmental Management Office (PCEMO) staff, received the award on behalf of the university at VCDU Prince Hotel, Barangay Villa Kananga, Butuan City.
This recognition serves as a clear indication of indispensable collaboration and concerted effort to create a better environment among CSU, the Pollution Control and Environmental Management Office (PCEMO), the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), and Barangay Ampayon. │ via fpl/pico
