Minebea Mitsumi, Inc. once again visited the university, concluding its Automation Bootcamp Phase II with the Department of Electronics Engineering on January 27, 2026. This industry-academe collaboration marks a significant milestone in strengthening practical automation education for engineering students.
This edition of the bootcamp emphasized equipment-based, hands-on learning, allowing students to engage directly with Minebea Mitsumi’s industrial automation systems and components. This phase was intentionally designed to build upon the theoretical concepts and software-based simulations introduced during Phase I, thereby enabling participants to translate prior knowledge into real-world automation applications.
The same attendees were present, who are now recognized as official completers of both phases of the bootcamp.
Prior to the conduct of Phase II, Minebea Mitsumi, Inc. paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the President to formally coordinate and reaffirm its commitment to implementing the hands-on training phase of the Automation Bootcamp. The delegation was composed of Engr. Noveem Joyce Paragoso, Engr. Mercie Grace Barton, Engr. Mark Dexter Labagala, Engr. Gemar Aringay, and Engr. Fritz Louise Tominez. The visit underscored the strong partnership between industry and academe under the existing Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between CSU and Minebea Mitsumi, Inc.
The successful completion of Phase II highlights the shared vision of CSU and Minebea Mitsumi, Inc. to produce industry-ready engineering graduates through progressive training, sustained mentorship, and meaningful exposure to modern industrial technologies. This initiative further reinforces the value of long-term partnerships in advancing engineering education and workforce readiness.
