Golden Paddlers, through the University Student Government (USG) continue to advance its commitment to sustainable and inclusive development as TINGUHA enters its third year in 2026 today, February 16. This marks active student participation in the university’s overarching goal of advancing the world’s Sustainable Development Goals.

This year, a weeklong Communication, Education, and Public Awareness (CEPA) Campaign will be launched and run until February 20, 2026. Local Student Governments (LSG) across seven colleges will hold plenary sessions and forums to tackle key development themes under the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These include sustainable leadership, healthy and climate-resilient cities, social protection, health education, environmental conservation, food security, and animal health.

TINGUHA’s impact was nationally recognized in 2025, when the USG received the Special Citation for Advocacy and Youth Leadership at the 1st United Nations Youth Association of the Philippines convention.

Building on the momentum of its previous editions, TINGUHA evolved into a platform that fosters informed dialogue, collective responsibility, and youth leadership aligned with national and global development goals.
