This year’s Career Expo of the university’s Office of the Counselling and Career Services (OCCS) featured sessions on career pathways from various agencies and introduced CSU’s partnership with SeeMeSol, Asia’s digital recruitment platform.
PRC’s Regional Director Cheryll P. Elicano, CPA, steered career discussions on November 26, 2025 with 1,738 Golden Paddlers for both morning and afternoon sessions. She coined that careers should be “aligned with one’s passion so one can find joy”. Other public and private organizations also showcased their services, career opportunities, and various programs exhibits: Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Taganito HPAL Nickel Corporation, Department of Science and Technology, Caraga Region Social Security System – Butuan Branch, Tagum Cooperative-Butuan Branch, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, Department of Labor and Employment – Agusan del Norte, Department of Economy, Planning, and Development-Caraga Region, and the Department of Migrant Workers.

Taking the spotlight of the activity is the launching of CSU’s Career and Alumni Portal powered by SeeMeSol. This digital platform aims to connect students and alumni to opportunities, updates, and meaningful career pathways through an integrated virtual hiring process. Ms. Rosine P. Tenajeros, SeeMeSol’s Customer Success Executive, joined the event via Zoom to walk participants through the platform’s features and highlight the career opportunities it unlocks. CSU formalized the partnership with the company in July of this year.
OCCS also awarded its winners for its On-the-Spot Poster Making and Essay Writing contests. The office vows to conduct this activity annually to ensure comprehensive employment support for all Golden Paddlers.
