Saceda Youth Lead (SYL) with its Founder/President Dr. Dave Saceda himself came to Caraga State University himself to confer the MIT Award or the Most Inspiring Teachers of the Republic of The Philippines award to CSU President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso. The awarding ceremony was held at the auditorium inside the newly built CSU-HERO Learning Commons building on November 19, 2021. It was attended by a number of CSU officials, guest and the SYL party.
In his message, SYL President Saceda said that Dr Anthony Penaso, President of Caraga State University conferred as 2021 Most Inspiring Teacher of the Philippines is a person worthy of emulation. As MiTs live lives dedicated to the mission of excellence, the SYL MIT award becomes a symbolic commitment to academic and cultural achievement, a leadership role for total human development. Dr. Penaso’s simplicity and intelligence in transforming Caraga through education is an extra-ordinary feat worth emulating.
The Saceda Youth Lead’s Most Inspiring Teacher Award is granted to teachers “whose creativity and imaginative skills blended with strong leadership and communication skills, have become local models of inspiration among the many youth and teachers who found life too difficult to appreciate.”
Congratulatory messages from President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Vice President Leni Robredo, some senators and Fr. Jerry M. Orbos were presented during the awarding ceremony. Dr. Penaso together with CSU’s first lady, Madam Abigail Noemis T. Penaso received the award with profound gratitude.
