Caraga State University, through its Technology Business Incubator (TBI) Center, successfully conducted the Entrepreneurship Training Bootcamp for Techno and Technology and Enterprise Management (TEM) Faculty on January 28–30, 2026, at the Hiraya Building, Navigatu.

Designed to directly support instruction in Technopreneurship and Technology and Enterprise Management (TEM), the bootcamp equipped Techno and TEM faculty members with practical frameworks and tools they can immediately integrate into their classes. Sessions focused on guiding faculty in teaching students how to identify real-world problems, validate ideas, analyze markets, and develop sustainable business models grounded in technology-driven innovation.

Key sessions were led by Ms. Jenelyn R. Asis, MSc, who facilitated discussions on innovation fundamentals and design thinking for problem discovery; Mr. Edwin Manuel M. Jarlata, TBI Faculty Affiliate, who covered value proposition development, business modeling, revenue strategies, and startup pitching; and Ms. Joanna S. Pitao, MSc, who shared insights on entrepreneurial frameworks and startup development. Dr. Riah E. Encarnacion, TBI Director, presented market segmentation, competitive analysis, and market sizing using the TAM, SAM, and SOM frameworks, providing faculty with analytical tools applicable to classroom case studies and student projects.

The program also introduced faculty to digital learning and incubation resources through the Wadhwani Foundation platform, led by Ms. Mary Rose Ofianga, Program Manager of Wadhwani Foundation–Philippines, offering materials that can be embedded into Technopreneurship and TEM coursework.

The activity concluded with the awarding of certificates led by Dr. Encarnacion, together with Mr. John Mark B. Correa, MSc, Incubation Project Head, and Ms. Mary Pilar J. Barber, MIT, TBI Community Development Head, reaffirming CSU’s commitment to strengthening innovation-driven instruction and industry-relevant learning experiences for students.
