CSU hails as 5th top-performing school in the Philippines; 1st in Visayas and Mindanao in recent Board Examination for Psychometricians

August 2023 brings a victorious feat for the pioneering batch of CSU’s BS Psychology! The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) named the University as the 5th top-performing school in the Philippines in the August 2023 Board Licensure Examination for Psychologists and Psychometricians (BLEPP) with a 92.42% passing rate for its first-time takers. This ranking concurrently puts CSU as the leading school in Visayas and Mindanao.
The Bachelor of Science in Psychology is an undergraduate program under the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHASS). It specializes in producing graduates with a theoretical foundation in psychology who can effectively translate these into actions that promote mental health in various fields, such as industrial and clinical settings, academic institutions, and government and non-government organizations. Graduates are also targeted to pursue graduate degrees in Psychology or medicine and law.
The Bachelor of Science in Psychology was first offered in 2018. As of this writing, approximately 500 students are enrolled in the program. This makes it one of the most preferred undergraduate courses in the University.
