There is always a place for good human beings. Caraga State University’s former President, Dr. Anthony M. Penaso was sworn into office as the new President of Bohol Island State University (BISU). The swearing-in ceremony happened at the Commission on Higher Education Office on October 27, 2022 after a rigorous processes.

CSU’s own dynamic and vibrant Board of Regent Chair, Commissioner Jo Mark Libre of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) administered the oath. Also present was another BOR member (representing senate’s Senator Francis Escudero) Hon. BOR Regent Ronnie Azura, and former CSU now BISU First Lady, Madam Abigail Noemis T. Penaso and few of his new BISU family.

Dr. Anthony M. Penaso has been known as a transformational leader, whose leadership is anchored on integrity, magnanimity, equanimity, objectivity, and perspicacity. He is unassuming, accepting of people regardless of social status and positions, very humble and simple. Aside from being a leader in its truest sense, Dr. Penaso leads with his heart and offers everything to God. God and his family are his source of strength and inspiration.

Dr. Penaso’s professional credentials is encompassing and exceptional. It will take someone hours to finish reading his curriculum vitae. President Penaso remains CSU’s forever President in the hearts and minds of his CSU family and his legacy is indelible. PICO
