The multi-awarded Caraga State University President, Dr. Anthony Makinano Penaso was awarded by the Mindanao Daily News (MDN) and Veterans Bank as Most Outstanding Mindanaoan (Government Academe Category) during the 2nd Mindanao Governance and Leadership Excellence Award held at Centrio Mall, Cagayan de Oro City last November 30, 2020.
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Senator Bong Go, Secretary Martin Andanar, and other distinguished Mindanaoans were also given accolade by the awarding entity. The annual MDN awarding ceremony recognized Mindanaoans who led and initiated significant contributions to the institution they represent.
CSU President Penaso also received the Civil Service Commission Caraga 2020 Presidential Lingkod Bayan Regional Award. The 2020 search for Outstanding Government Workers, Honor Awards Program of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) virtual awarding ceremony was held last December 7, 2020.
Dr. Penaso was also chosen as Outstanding Transformational Leader of the year by the Butuanon Choice Awards Committee. EJEA/pico
