President Daguil is national semi-finalist for Gawad Lingkod Bayan ng Pangulo

CSU celebrates the inclusion of University President Rolyn C. Daguil, PhD, in the national semi-finalists for the 2025 Gawad Lingkod Bayan ng Pangulo, a prestigious recognition conferred by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

The Gawad Lingkod Bayan ng Pangulo is one of the distinctions under the Gawad Lingkod Bayani, which recognizes outstanding work performance and exemplary behavior, along with Gawad Dangal ng Bayan and Gawad Pagasa.

The Gawad Lingkod Bayan ng Pangulo, in particular, honors civil servants who have made exceptional contributions to the country through innovative ideas or impactful actions of national significance, especially in areas of public interest, security, and national development relative to Executive Order No. 588, s. 1992.

President Daguil’s visionary leadership, groundbreaking initiatives in science and innovation, and steadfast commitment to public service have made a remarkable impact on the country’s education and research sectors. His inclusion reflects the qualities of an exemplary public servant who embodies excellence, integrity, and dedicated service.

Dr. Daguil is among the winners in the regional search for the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Individual Category, which qualifies him for the national level. The regional awarding will be held in September.
