Caraga State University is a finalist again in the national Unlocked Competition 2025, as announced by organizer Xinyx on August 3, joining four (4) initial finalists drawn from 74 total entries.

CarSU’s concept titled “Power-Efficient Design of a 10-bit Asynchronous SAR ADC in 65nm CMOS for IoT Medical Sensors” proposes a smart, more energy-efficient medical device that will transmit data wirelessly, which is useful in remote and timely patient monitoring.

Geraldine K. Arquion, Crissa Mae G. Bolastig, Joanne Ivy Gallanas, and Engr. Re-Ann Cristine O. Calimpusan comprises the CSU team, competing with 19 other participating universities and colleges.

XINYX Unlocked is designed to challenge students’ resourcefulness, ingenuity, and

ability to apply technical expertise through developing innovative solutions that can positively impact their communities.

CSU’s three-year streak reflects the innovation drive of the university that translates instruction into community solutions, consistent with SDGs No. 4 (Quality Education) and No. 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).
