CEd hits new record as BEEd Program reaches Level IV program status 

CSU – College of Education continues to raise the bar in teacher training and academic excellence as its Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) program was officially accredited as Level IV status, the highest status awarded by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP). 

This prestigious recognition positions the BEEd program among the most distinguished in the country, joining CEd’s very own Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics and Sciences, which was also accorded the same status in August this year. 

With two flagship programs now holding the highest accreditation level, the college reaffirms its commitment to delivering top-tier education and producing highly competent educators.

Relevant accolades

Adding to its growing list of accolades, the college was also acknowledged as the 9th Top Performing School for Elementary Education in the September 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers, reflecting the Department of Elementary Education’s consistent performance in national board exams, with several graduates securing topnotcher positions in recent years.

Further cementing its reputation for excellence, the Department was also honored with the Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE) award, alongside the Secondary Education Department, which underscores the College’s dedication to maintaining rigorous academic standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

With these accomplishments, the College of Education not only celebrates its legacy but also looks forward to shaping the future of Philippine education through innovation, integrity, and impact. Anchored in SDGs No. 4 (Quality Education) and No. 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), these achievements reflect the college’s vital role in advancing inclusive, equitable, and transformative education in the Philippines.
