University President Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil took the spotlight at the 9th National Technology Business Incubator (TBI) Summit on November 7, 2025, at Bacolod City in his presentation of the university’s milestones in innovation, research translation, startup development, and the accomplishment of Navigatú throughout the years.

His presence was fitting, reflecting the university’s current focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. As a former TBI Project Leader and OIC-ITSO Manager, Dr. Daguil led several of the university’s most successful income-generating projects. In 2017, CSU contributed to the creation of TBIs under the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) by establishing Navigatú.

President Daguil’s presentation forms part of the session on ‘Presidents’ TBI Journey’, where he shared the university’s aspiration in developing student-led startups.

Today, CSU furthers its support for TBI initiatives through establishing the Technological Advancement Revolutionizing Agri-Aqua (TARA), which supports startups in the agriculture and aquaculture sectors in the region.

We at the university are proud to carry this vision with you, President Daguil. Bugsay!
