List of Scholarship and Financial Assistance Programs

CHED - Funded Scholarship Programs

CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMSP) – Full SSP and Half SSP

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen.
  • Must be an incoming first-year student enrolled in a priority program in a CHED-recognized HEI, SUC, or LUC with a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC).
  • Must belong to special groups (underprivileged and homeless citizens, persons with disabilities, solo parents and their dependents, etc.).
  • Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA): Full Merit: 96% and above; Half Merit: 93–95%.

Privileges:

  • Full Merit – Stipend of Php 40,000.00 per semester
  • Half Merit – Stipend of Php 20,000.00 per semester
 
CHED Tulong- Dunong Program (TDP-TES)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen.
  • Must be enrolled in a CHED-recognized SUC, LUC, or private HEI.
  • Belongs to a disadvantaged sector or municipality without a public HEI.
  • Must meet CHED’s income and academic requirements.

 

Privileges:

  • Stipend of Php 7,500.00 per semester
 
CHED Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen enrolled in a CHED-recognized HEI.
  • Must be listed in the UniFAST masterlist of qualified students based on income and location criteria (as per RA 10931).
  • Priority given to students from poor households and those residing in cities/municipalities without public HEIs.

 

Privileges:

  • Stipend of Php 10,000.00 per semester
  • Additional stipend of Php 10,000 per academic year for persons with disability (TES-3A)
  • One-time reimbursement of Php 8,000.00 for licensure exam takers (TES-3B)
 
CHED TDP- State Universities and Colleges (TDP- SUC)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a new grantee enrolled in a State University or College (SUC).
  • Must meet the academic and socio-economic eligibility set by CHED.

 

Privileges:

  • One time grant of Php 7,500.00.
 

Other Government - Funded Scholarship Programs

The application for the following Government-Funded Scholarship are agency-direct. Scholars need to submit their applications directly to the scholarship giving agency and transact scholarship concerns like requirements and allowances straight from their office. However, announcements and updates regarding various scholarships offers shall be posted by the OAS once requested.

  1. Iskolar ng Landbank Program
  2. Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (DA-ACEF)
  3. Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund – Grant-in-Aid for Higher Education Program (ACEF- GIAHEP)
  4. Department of Science and Technology (DOST)
  5. Local Government Unit-Bayugan (LGU- BAYUGAN) Graduate School Scholarship Program

Private - Funded Scholarship Programs

The application for the following Private-Funded Scholarship are agency-direct. Scholars need to submit their applications directly to the scholarship-giving agency and transact scholarship concerns like requirements and allowances straight from their office. However, announcements and updates regarding various scholarships offers shall be posted by the OAS once requested.

  1. The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) Scholarship Program
  2. Enfants du Mekong Scholarship

University - Funded Scholarship/Financial Assistance Programs

Student Assistantship (SA) Program

The Student Assistantship Program is a university-based employment and financial assistance scheme that allows qualified students to work part-time within the institution in exchange for an honorarium.

 

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must have completed at least the first year and currently enrolled as a bona fide Caraga State University student.
  • Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship or financial aid.
  • Must have good academic record.

 

Privileges:

  • A wage of Php 2,500 per month equivalent to 100 hours of service.
Culture and Arts

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a bona fide Caraga State University student.
  • Must be a member of Budjong Chorale Ensemble, Dulimbay Theater Arts Guild, and Kayam Ethno Band.
  • Must maintain a good standing with respect to attendance in practices and performances.

 

Privileges:

  • A stipend of Php 1,000.00 per month
