CSU’s Golden Paddlers continue to build a rock-solid impression in the geosciences as Jethro Philippe B. Maliao breaks the UP-Diliman topnotcher streak, landing the 8th spot in the November 2025 Geologist Licensure Examination. The results were released earlier, November 26, with Maliao earning 84.40%.
Alongside this achievement, 12 other Golden Paddlers are now officially licensed geologists, giving CSU an institutional rate of 86.67% and placing it within the national passing rate of 64.53%.
Additionally, all first-time takers passed, further strengthening the university’s reputation as a strong training ground for producing industry-ready geoscience professionals.
