The Office of Admission and Scholarship (OAS), led by OAS Director Dr. Sheila Rae E. Permanes, conducted a comprehensive CHED-Funded Scholarships’ Orientation for the newest batch of Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) scholarship grantees on April 22, 2026, at the CSU Gymnasium.
Organized by OAS Scholarship Unit Head Ms. Airish Pelemeniano-Jumunong, the orientation aims to provide essential information to over 900 TES grantees on its guidelines, benefits, obligations, and compliance requirements. It also served as a venue to inform students about the proper use of the subsidies, institutional policies, and other important updates, ensuring that grantees remain eligible and responsible beneficiaries of the program. Moreover, the orientation also sought to address common concerns, clarify existing policies, and strengthen coordination between the institution and the grantees.

Financial Management Services Chief Administrative Officer Merinessa D. Gonzaga particularly discussed the steps for releasing monetary benefits to CHED scholars, and representatives from Landbank provided an orientation on opening a Landbank ATM savings account to receive stipends.
The Office of the Counseling and Career Services, duly represented by Guidance Associate Glaiza Tricia Faith G. Andrade, discussed the role of the Guidance Office in supporting CHED scholars.
