
The Caraga State University (CSU) College of Education Graduate Studies (CEd-GS) Program Coordinators continued their Lecture–Seminar on Global Research Trends for their faculty members and doctoral students at the CSU HERO Learning Commons Auditorium on April 19, 2026.



The lecture series further discussed advancing research excellence in the era of innovation and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The highlight of the event was the participation of international adjunct Professor Eunwha Lee, who not only shared valuable insights on global research trends but also conducted a class session for MATHED 307, team-teaching with Dr. Maris T. Lasco for the Doctorate students in Mathematics Education.
As an outcome of the activity, participants gained enhanced research competence, identified potential collaborative research projects, and initiated the formulation of research agendas aligned with global trends. The seminar also paved the way for future scholarly publications, joint research endeavors, and sustained partnerships among Graduate Studies faculty and international experts.
Overall, the Lecture–Seminar successfully achieved its objectives of empowering faculty and doctoral students with contemporary research insights, fostering collaborative scholarship, and strengthening the College of Education’s role as a hub for innovative and globally engaged educational research.
The following day, April 20, 2026, Professor Eunwha Lee paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the University President. Joining her were the CEd GS Program Chairperson and faculty members, namely Dr. Maris T. Lasco, Dr. Emybel M. Alegre, Dr. Grace T. Flores, and Dr. Sonia R. Low. During the visit, CSU President Rolyn C. Daguil, CEd GS Program Coordinators, and Professor Lee discussed topics centered on strengthening academic partnerships, exploring opportunities for collaborative research, and expanding international engagements aligned with the university’s vision for global academic excellence and innovation.
